Role Description:
We are searching for an exceptional sales professional who excels in an independent, dynamic setting, offering the opportunity for industry-leading earnings. In this role, you will lead growth of our myKaarma Payment Processing Platform across a substantial territory.  Your approach is characterized by confidence and humility, and you are adept at giving and receiving constructive feedback within our transparent organization. We have integrated the principles of the Toyota Production System (TPS) into our own myKaarma Production System, and we live and breathe philosophies such as Genchi Genbutsu, Hansei, and Kaizen in our daily work environment. The Regional Payments Sales Executive (RPSE) will be responsible for the following:

 

  • Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers through various means, including dealer visits, cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.

 

  • Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations or demonstrations of our verticalized SaaS Payments platform  to potential customers to highlight the features and benefits.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Sales Negotiation: Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with customers to secure sales and maximize profitability.
  • Sales Quotas: Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets set by the company, department, or team.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Product and Payments Compliance Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the payments and vertical SaaS platform being sold and stay updated on  changes, updates, and payments compliance rules among the various states. 
  • Sales Reporting: It’s critical in this role to maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions in our CRM. Prepare regular sales reports for management.
  • Customer Support: Must provide comprehensive hand-off information to the post-sale team (Payments Deployment and Training Team) and also be available to provide post-sale assistance.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the sales team, as well as marketing, product development, deployment, training and customer support teams to achieve overall company goals. 

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in sales, especially in the automotive industry and/or payments industry is a must. Experience within automotive fixed operations space is preferred. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information to customers and colleagues.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills are a must for closing deals and securing favorable terms.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers are vital.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly become familiar with the company’s products or services and the ability to explain their features and benefits is a must.
  • Sales Techniques: Familiarity with various sales techniques, such as consultative selling, objection handling, and closing strategies, is required.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using sales and CRM software, as well as basic computer applications like Microsoft Office, will be required.
  • Self-Motivation: Salespeople often work independently, so self-motivation and discipline are absolutely crucial for success 
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs is essential in the dynamic field of sales.
  • Travel:  Sales RPSE’s will cover a Multi-State territory and need to be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.  Overnight travel will vary depending on the location of your home office.
