Account Development Representative (Inside Sales)

Role Description:
For the Account Development Representative (ADR), we are looking for entrepreneurial risk takers, who thrive on creating and managing leads in a territory, handling complex deal flows, and have a desire to learn the product inside and out.  The ideal candidate is not afraid to make 50-80 prospecting calls a day while strategizing directly with their Regional Sales Executive on territory planning.  You will be  comfortable discussing the solutions that myKaarma offers to dealers.

We are looking for orthogonal thinkers; people who are not afraid to solve problems from unique and creative perspectives.  We relish the application of the myKaarma methodology: we start with the consumer and work backwards, using convenience and transparency as the hallmark of our design process.  We have invented terms like “Natural Flow” and “not having to do work to do work” as guiding principles that allow our products to be super easy and flexible to use.

The Account Development Representative will be responsible for the following:
Contacting various members of dealerships through cold calls, emails, video emails, and text messages to generate their interest in myKaarma

  • Leveraging data and usage reports for current myKaarma customers to identify new/upsell opportunities for these customers
  • Building relationships with counterparts in other departments i.e. Performance Management to cultivate leads and referrals in current base of business
  • Leveraging Salesforce and other sales enablement tools i.e. MixMax to generate targeted (OEM, Geographic-based) lists of prospects
  • Creating appointments for qualified dealership personnel to attend live demonstrations which convey the value of myKaarma
  • Utilizing a consultative approach to determine the needs of prospects, and overcoming objections
  • Collaborating with Regional Sales Executive (RSE) team to ensure product demonstrations are attended by prospective clients
  • Constructing weekly reports to summarize the strategies and results for the week
  • Working with RSE team to revisit previously lost sales opportunities and employing new approaches to generate interest in myKaarma
  • Keeping accurate up-to-date information about prospective clients
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of myKaarma as well as similar products offered by competitors

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: Previous experience in the Automotive dealership industry is a must. Experience working in or and/or selling in the Automotive Fixed Operations space is preferred.  Strong preference given to candidates with previous SaaS sales experience. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information to customers and colleagues.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers are vital.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly become familiar with the company’s products or services and the ability to explain their features and benefits is a must.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in using sales and CRM software, as well as basic computer applications like Google Docs will be required.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs is essential in the dynamic field of sales.
