What drives us

People first

Build with care for the people using our technology, and the customers they serve.

Go and see

Practice Genchi Genbutsu: observe firsthand to understand the problem before designing the solution.

Create technology that fits naturally into the way people work.

Keep improving

Stay curious, challenge assumptions, and turn better ideas into practical improvements.

Build connections

Help dealerships get more from their technology through open integrations and collaboration.

Get to know the why behind the work.

Our story began with a frustrating dealership visit, and a belief that making work easier for dealership teams could make the customer experience better.

That belief still guides us. We get close to the people using our technology, understand the challenges they face, and build solutions that make a meaningful difference in their day.

AI is part of everyone’s job

At myKaarma, everyone is expected to use AI and experiment with how it can improve their work, across every function and level. We look for people who are curious enough to explore, thoughtful enough to question the output, and willing to rethink familiar ways of working.

Come ready to discuss what you’ve tried, what you’ve learned, and what you’d explore next.

Use it

Bring AI into your everyday work to solve problems, improve quality, and make room for higher-value contributions.

Experiment

Test ideas, explore new approaches, and share what you learn (including what didn’t work).

Own the outcome

Apply your expertise and judgment. Evaluate the results and take responsibility for the work you deliver.

Understanding the interview process

We typically conduct several rounds of interviews for all roles. These conversations give you time with different people across myKaarma, offering a firsthand look at how we think, work, and collaborate.

Meet beyond your immediate team

Collaboration is part of daily life here. Meeting people across functions helps you understand how teams connect, how decisions take shape, and where your role can make an impact.

Challenge the thinking

Our process includes a “bar raiser” interview that challenges traditional thinking. We’ll explore how you question assumptions, consider different perspectives, and approach unfamiliar problems.

Interview us, too

Ask us about expectations, leadership, collaboration, and the challenges we’re working through. Use these conversations to decide whether this is a place where you can contribute, grow, and do work you’re proud of.

Support for life and work

Ways of working

Hybrid working arrangements help balance collaboration and flexibility, with dog-friendly offices and onsite snacks.

Time to recharge

Vacation time and regional holidays give you space to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside work.

Health & well-being

Health coverage, wellness support, and telework stipends help support your everyday needs.
Benefits and work arrangements vary by role and location

FAQ

Working at myKaarma

We use AI in our work, and we know many candidates do too. What matters is that your application and interviews reflect you.

Our goal is to understand your skills, experience, and thought process. Any materials you submit and responses you give should be an honest representation of your work.

You’re welcome to use AI as a support tool, for example, to refine your resume, check grammar, or prepare for interviews. However, it should not replace your own thinking or be used to generate responses during interviews.

As a general guide:

  • Use AI to prepare, not to perform
  • Make sure anything you submit or say is accurate and your own
  • Do not rely on AI to answer questions in real time during interviews.

When we assess your skills, whether through conversation or a technical exercise, we look to understand your approach more than just the output.

Misrepresenting your skills or experience, whether through AI or otherwise, may result in removal from the hiring process.

We also use AI to support our hiring process, for example, to help draft job postings, streamline scheduling, or summarize notes. It helps us move faster and stay organized, but decisions are always made by people.
